Hey, I'm Brock, founder of Cowmera Games, a tiny indie studio! Our upcoming game is an unannounced sci-fi idle game with a visual novel style story that you unlock as you progress through it. We make all art and audio assets in-house, have dedicated programmers, a writer, and don't want to be seen as another "AI slop" idle game within the genre. Very few people know we exist, and your job will be to help me come up with and execute a plan so that we can change that! You won't be handed a finished plan and told to post things, you'll help decide what we do. Here's some specific things you might be doing each week: - Helping me plan upcoming steps and goals for marketing the game and preparing things for events such as Steam Next Fest, a demo launch, and the release itself - Create text and/or video content to post on social media and share with our community to help promote the game. You'll be given whatever you need (build access, raw assets, etc) to be able to achieve this - Help engage with the community in a friendly, helpful, and funny manner, particularly in posts/content that you made - Find and reach out to content creators and other sources that may help bring attention to our game What you get: - $10-12/hr, 5-8 hours a week, paid weekly via Paypal, Wise, Zelle, Venmo, or whatever else you prefer - Flexible schedule, do work throughout the week whenever YOU are available, we communicate via discord and hours are tracked via TimeCamp - A responsive founder who will listen to concerns, treat you as a real human being, and genuinely wants your pushback - Your name in the game's credits - A real say in how the game gets marketed, from beginning to launch (and beyond?) What we're looking for from you specifically: - You're a gamer, and in-touch with gamer culture - You play, are interested in, or are willing to learn more about and become invested in idle games - You know how Steam wishlists, demos, and Next Fest works - You write clearly and have opinions you can back up - You have something that you can clearly point to for previous experience/success. A past game you helped promote, some social media posts that did well, a content creator that you made content for, a fan community that you're active in, a youtube channel you ran, etc. Anything is better than nothing, and it counts for more than you may think!
