IndieGuild Job board

How IndieGuild makes money

Updated October 24, 2026

I want IndieGuild around for a long time, and that means it has to pay its own bills someday. So here's exactly how I'm doing that, and the lines I won't cross.

Free, forever

  • Posting roles
  • Browsing profiles and the Job board
  • Messaging anyone
  • Role alerts
  • Your profile and studio page
  • The Community board and Playtest swap

And I don't take a cut of any gig. What you pay or get paid is between you and the person you work with.

What you can pay for today

Coming later

Pro tools for people who want more out of their own page:
  • Stats on who's viewing and listening
  • A reel video at the top of your profile
  • Private pitch links
  • Card effects

Pro never changes who gets found. Browse and role order stay random, and role alerts reach everyone at the same time.

What I'll never do

  • Run ads
  • Take a cut of what you earn
  • Sell who gets seen first
