ESSENCEBOUND is a VR-first fantasy RPG in Unreal Engine 5 (PC VR/OpenXR, pre-alpha) where players write their own magic — 150 spell schools, cast by hand with gesture-based casting, no menus.
I'm a solo dev looking for a UE dev to jam on the gesture-casting system and spell interactions. Unpaid hobby collab: credit + revenue share, one scoped task first, no crunch, async-friendly.
First task: help prototype one new gesture-cast spell end to end (input → cast → effect) so we can see if we work well together.
